CHRISTINE WULF
Born and raised in Paderborn, Germany, Christine Wulf moved to Winnipeg in 2008 where her careers as Pianist and Piano Instructor advanced. She currently runs a private studio, working with students of various ages and levels. She enjoys working with an individual approach that is tailored to the needs and long-term goals of a student and encourages them to become better musicians. Christine is currently based near Cranbrook, BC and serves the surrounding areas.
Christine holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance (2014) as well as a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance (2020), both from the University of Manitoba where she has had the privilege of studying with Juilliard alumnus Dr. David Moroz for many years. She completed the first year of her Master’s degree at the University of Minnesota where she studied with Dr. Alexander Chernyshev, alumnus of the prestigious St. Petersburg Conservatory. Other notable instructors have included Dr. Oleg Pokhanovski, Dr. Darryl Friesen, Dr. Laura Loewen, and Dr. Karl Paulnack. She also has had the privilege of working with accomplished pianists such as Sean Chen, Alon Goldstein and Dr. Theresa Bogard on several occasions. Over the course of her studies, she has won numerous awards and scholarships for demonstrating excellence in academics and performance. Christine is comfortable teaching in both, English and German.
